North Caddo Medical Center named Dakota Robinson their Chief Financial Officer, Tuesday, October 30. This announcement comes after a six-month search with more than 35 applicants for the position at the medical center. Robinson was hired at North Caddo Medical Center in November of 2013 as their Financial Controller. He has served as Interim C.F.O. for the last 6 months after the retirement of the previous C.F.O., Allyson Allums.
Robinson has a Master’s in Business Administration from Louisiana Tech University in Ruston, Louisiana. He received a Bachelor of Science from Centenary in Shreveport, Louisiana. Robinson graduated with a double major of Business Administration and Finance, as well as a double minor in Accounting and Finance.
Robinson brings a proven record of hospital finance, revenue and expense analysis, management and strategy, along with a deep appreciation for North Caddo Medical Center’s patients, employees, and communities. Robinson states,

Robinson has played a vital role in the hospital’s financial leadership with projects including policies and procedures for $24 million in federal funds for the hospital’s construction, implementation of the 340B program, management of self-funded insurance, and implementation of fixed asset tracking system across the Medical Center’s multiple facilities. His lead on the implementation of the 340B program has brought the hospital a considerable amount of pharmaceutical savings, as well as direct savings for their patients.
Robinson will lead the financial operations, Revenue Cycle, Health Information Management, Case Management, and Information Systems of North Caddo Medical Center. As a leader in the executive team, he will also work closely with the Board of Directors and the Board Finance Committee. “We are extremely lucky to have someone with the skill set that Dakota brings to the hospital.
