Dr. McCommon, a primary care provider, specializes in a broad range of healthcare services for patients of all ages—from newborns to seniors. She provides sick care, preventive care, routine check-ups, immunizations, and health screenings, as well as manages chronic conditions like diabetes, high blood pressure, and cholesterol. Dr. McCommon also provides women’s health services.
For patients needing specialized care, Dr. McCommon can coordinate referrals to specialists and work closely with them to ensure an appropriate approach to each patient’s health. Additionally, Dr. McCommon will accept walk-ins and offer same-day visits, helping patients get timely care for acute illnesses such as flu, respiratory infections, minor injuries, and more. In addition to primary care, Benton Medical introduces April Moody, nurse practitioner specializing in psychiatric mental health, is available two days a week to treat patients. April, is a new addition to the team and will provide care for individuals struggling with mental health conditions such as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, ADHD, and more. April will also accept all insurances including Medicare and Medicaid.
This specialty is vital for patients needing comprehensive mental health support, whether through medication management or therapeutic interventions. April works with patients to assess and develop personalized treatment plans, helping them improve their mental and emotional well-being. These services will be available to both new and existing patients.
