North Caddo Medical Center’s recent press release revealed news of construction to expand their radiology department, along with the addition of Emergency rooms. The construction will be taking place in the present ER parking lot and public entrance to the emergency department. The main entrance will now be used as the entrance for the emergency department.
NCMC has signs present on their campus to help patients and family navigate to the main entrance for access to the emergency department. The ambulance entrance will be open for EMS and patients who are unable to transfer to a wheelchair. However, vehicles will not be able to drive through the area. The path should be an area of caution.
The Emergency Department has new procedures which they are putting in place to continue their mission of Exceptional Care for All, especially in times of emergency. Business will run as normal for the 4 bed ER which is known for their quality care with little to no wait. The construction is expected to last 9 months.
