OIL CITY, LA—North Caddo Medical Center announces that it will assume ownership of the clinic in Oil City, currently operated by Willis-Knighton Health, effective January 1, 2025. This acquisition aligns with the center’s mission to provide access to quality healthcare across rural communities and enhances its commitment to Exceptional Care for All.
Under its new name, Oil City Medical, the clinic will join North Caddo Medical Center’s network of rural health clinics, marking its sixth location dedicated to rural health. Patients can expect the same compassionate, consistent care from Heather Walker, the current nurse practitioner, and staff members, who will remain on board and continue to serve the Oil City community.
As part of this transition, the clinic is remodeling to provide an updated look designed to enhance the patient experience. These improvements reflect North Caddo Medical Center’s ongoing efforts to create a welcoming, comfortable environment for its patients.
